An online weekend workshop with David Nichtern
Friday, March 26th 7pm – 9pm EST
Saturday, March 27th 10am – 6pm EST
Sunday, March 28th 10am – 6pm EST
Despite the chaos and uncertainty we are all facing these days, we can still access our basic human wisdom to help address and transform these challenges.
In the Shambhala teachings as presented by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, a warrior is someone who manifests kindness, courage, and self-awareness, beyond aggression – even in the face of seemingly overwhelming obstacles.
Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior, by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, is a classic homage and practical guide to the spirit of the warrior in any time and place, perhaps especially right now.
Closely linked with the Buddhist practices of mindfulness and awareness, but also having its own independent basis, the warrior’s path tells us how to uplift our lives and activate the inherent dignity and confidence that is always present within us.
In this weekend workshop we will be exploring the path of the warrior – including readings from the book, talks by David, discussions and group practice. Open to all levels.
