Lama Zopa Rinpoche (1946-2023) beloved Dharma teacher and friend/inspiration to millions over his long and illustrious career building institutions, training bodhisattvas, teaching students, writing books, and building monuments to every sentient being’s capacity for perfect wisdom and compassion, has passed away and begun his journey to reincarnation so that he can continue his work in his next incarnation. He died on April 13th at Copan Monastery in Nepal. Tibet House US joins with everyone around the world in mourning our loss, wishing him a speedy journey to his next life, and offering our condolences to his surviving family and close friends.
